A high quality art print of an ashtray from Mike's Pizza, San Fernando Valley, California. Vintage, circa 1970s. Framed in 3/8" extruded aluminum metal. Made in the USA.
Mike's Pizza was a community staple wherever it opened with its customers beaming over its food, especially its hot pies and garlic rolls. They were known for their giant pizzas, tossing the dough in the air, and keeping sawdust on the floors. The original location was owned by Paul Green and opened in 1957 on 8160 Van Nuys Blvd, eventually closing in 1993. His son, Mike Green, who the restaurant was named after, sadly died due to a car accident coming home from college in Santa Clarita.
