A high quality art print of an ashtray from Lou's Village, San Jose, California. Vintage, circa 1950s. Framed in 3/8" extruded aluminum metal. Made in the USA.
Lou's Village was run by the Santoro-Muller Family for 60 years. Lou Santoro and Paul Polizzi worked together in the San Jose Fire Department and wanted to open a restaurant when they retired. The restaurant opened in 1946 on 1465 W. San Carlos Street. Lucille Ball was one of the famous patrons of Lou's! The restaurant had numerous generations of owners, surviving and rebuilding from a fire in 1961, but eventually closed in 2006.
