Albert Sheetz, full business name being Albert Sheetz Mission Candy Company, was one of the OG businesses in Beverly Hills, having photo evidence from as far back as 1937. In addition to candy, they also sold ice cream and pastries, eventually becoming a restaurant as well. John Albert Sheetz was the founder of the business. He was originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania and ran a hotel until he was 46 years old. He passed away in Beverly Hills at the age of 68 in 1941, leaving his wife and 7 children.
